Thomas M. McLaughlin
A lifelong Tampa Bay resident, Thomas M. McLaughlin earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida before graduating in the top 15% of his class at Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport.
Tom launched his criminal defense career with the Public Defender's Office for the Sixth Judicial Circuit, later transitioning to a staff attorney role where he conducted research and writing for the circuit court judges.
For sixteen years, Tom also served as an educator in Safety Harbor, with a particular passion for teaching students about their constitutional rights, while maintaining an active criminal defense practice through court-appointed appellate work.
