On December 5, 2012, attorney Terri Cromley, a partner with the firm of Carlson, Meissner, Hart & Hayslett, P.A., and paralegal, Brenda Sullivan, attended the Annual Meeting  of "Just for Girls".  This organization provides education, developmental and prevention-based programming to disadvantaged and impoverished girls during the dangerous and often unsupervised preschool and post-school hours. Just for Girls keeps our children safe, promotes living drug-free, and motivates girls to succeed. This programming is nurturing a new generation of youth that will become tomorrow's valued employees, responsible parents and conscientious citizens of our community. . This

During the meeting Terri Cromley and Brenda Sullivan, along with several additional members of the community, were recognized for their contributions to Just for Girls.

As  a board member of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Terri co-chaired a Casino Night fundraiser for their benefit this past Spring.  It was a huge success and raised a lot of money for the organization.

Brenda took the Good Humor Ice Cream Truck owned by Paul Meissner, the managing partner of Carlson, Meissner, Hart & Hayslett, and donated ice cream to their annual tailgate fundraiser for the second year.

In addition to an after school program and an alternative school, Just for Girls is in their inaugural year of a charter school.  Other programs offered to the community are Business Entrepreneurs Class, Choices for Careers and Life Planning, Culture and Heritage, Girls Alternative Programs for Success, and REAP (Reiliency, Education and Prevention Program).

We are proud to support this great organization that does so much for the girls in our community.
